The story of Tripurdas Kayasth, sevak of Shree Vallabh
Every year Tripurdas Kayasth used to send beautiful 'Dagli' or overcoat made of good quality materials with beautiful embroidery on it which Shree
Gusainji would adorn Shreeji with. One year due to some problem in his business he was blamed to have swindled money from his business parteners and
thereby according to the law of that time put behind bars. The Shreeji could not bear to see his staunch devotee behind bars, so He sent his doots or
'messengers' who beat those who put him behind the bars. Tripurdas Kayasth was then released by those who put him in jail and they asked for his
forgiveness. After sometime the 'Bhetiya' or those who collect Bhet for Shrinathji arrived at his place. Due to the Monetary Constraints, Tripurdas Kayasth
could not offer the good quality cloth required for the 'Dagli'. He sold his silver pen stand and with that money brought some colourful cotton cloth and
then sent the same to the Bhetiyas to be offered to Shrinathji. And when Shree Gusainji, on the day of Dev Prabhodini, adorned Shreeji with new costly
Dagli, then Prabhu told him 'I am still feeling cold.' Hearing this, Shree Gusainji lit another Angeethi and placed it before him. Then also Shriji started
shivering with cold. Then Gusainji asked his Bhandari as to whose Dagli has yet to arrive. By this he came to know that Tripurdas Kayasth's dagli hadn't
come. Gusainji then understood the reason for the chill that Shriji was experiencing he immediately ordered the tailors to stitch a Raajai from the cotton
cloth sent by Tripurdas and offered it to Shreeji. Immediately Shreeji's chill vanished. When Tripurdas heared of this, he sang---------------
